2017 Dacia Sandero review

2017 Dacia Sandero review the Dacia Sandero put quite simply is the cheapest new car you can buy in the UK and for cost-conscious fires that’s a huge selling point it rivals some of our

favorite small cars including the Skoda Fabia Ford Fiesta and Volkswagen Polo and those are all popular choices so can the bargain Sandero really match up to

them or give it no price mean too many compromises in other areas that’s what we’re going to find out in this video in keeping with the stand arrows simple

2017 Dacia Sandero review

nature there are only three engines to choose from there’s the entry level one knee so it feels nipping around town but a tough underpowered on the motorway the more

powerful not 0.9 litre turbocharged petrol is a little bit livelier at higher speeds there’s only one diesel and we don’t recommend this one because

it’s noisy and it makes the car vibrate like washing machine on a spin cycle ride can’t produce decent we don’t expect the Sandero to handle anywhere

near as well as a Ford Fiesta there’s plenty of body roll through the corners and the steering is rather numb refinement is also a bit of an issue as

wind and road noise seems to find their way into the cabin some people will struggle to find a comfortable driving position because there’s no height adjustment on the

seats and although there’s brake there’s no reach adjustment on the steering wheel plus points though all-round visibility is very good thanks to the

saloon pillar so it’s not the end of the world if you don’t go for the optional parking sensors available on high-en versions now while the interior feels

solid the prospects are not particularly appealing and access models as the entry-level doesn’t even get away and these versions of the Sandero get a

single color infotainment screen which has traditional buttons and knobs to control the functions rather much like an old-fashioned stereo it’s a little

bit fiddly if you go through the range-topping Laurette you get a seven-inch touchscreen with sat-nav and it’s much better to use because the

menus are logically laid out and it’s very responsive the Sandero may be a small car but it’s surprisingly big inside there’s plenty of room in the back

and the front collapses a decent amount of storage because his loved ones actually quite safe and then there’s little cubby holes somewhere banana and

almost also open when it comes to boot space the Sandero is highly impressive it beats other budget models such as a Ford Ka plus by quite some margin the only obvious

downsides that there’s a high load lip no variable boot floor however there are some handbag code just in case someone else’s taken up the glove box

running costs aware the Sandero really shines in fact it will cost you less than any other new car in first three years of its life true we’d avoid the

entry level access model for its part and equipment list go for the ambience though the mid-range model which is rather temptingly priced because you get

PAB digital radio central locking electric front windows bluetooth and air-conditioning so if you’re looking for budget family transport or the

Sandero is definitely worth considering it’s flawed in many places but it’s a lot more practical than many cars that cost thousands more for plenty more on the Duchy of sand Arrowhead
